About Integra EDU

Michael Goulden has trained clients since 1997 and taught trainers since 2002. He still does both. Everything taught here was tested on someone first.

About Integra EDU

We teach how to think, not what to think

  • Investigate before you prescribe
  • Reason from principles, not protocols
  • Ask better questions
  • Build skill that transfers to any client

Principles, not recipes.

1,500 hours with one client. What could you do with that?

Train someone three times a week for ten years and that is the time you get with them. It is a huge opportunity to create change - in how they move, what they can do, and how they feel about their own body.

Integra EDU exists to help trainers make the most of it, and to make that kind of education available to anyone willing to do the work.

Founded by Michael Goulden

Thirty years in, Michael approaches every challenge like a fresh puzzle. He founded Integra in 1997 asking why some people progress while others don't. That investigation became our educational method - teaching professionals to think systematically about exercise design and client response.

How we teach

  • Lead with questions. Explore first
  • Every rep is an experiment. Test everything
  • Fail fast. A safe place to get things wrong
  • Principles over recipes. Reasoning that works for any client
  • Learn together. Everyone contributes

Small on purpose. We would rather teach fewer things properly.
